One command connects Claude Code to the swarm. Takes under a minute.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user swarm-host https://swarm-mcp.llm-swarm.com/mcp
This just registers the connector — no sign-in required yet. The first time Claude actually uses a swarm tool, it'll prompt you to authenticate (email + 6-digit code) right there in the terminal.
Custom MCP connectors are added through the web app for both Claude and ChatGPT, not their phone apps. Paste this server URL where each one asks for it:
https://swarm-mcp.llm-swarm.com/mcp
This is a server address for pasting into Claude/ChatGPT's connector form below — it isn't a normal webpage, so don't open it directly in a browser tab (it'll hang).
Claude
Once added there, it's available on this Claude account everywhere — including the iPhone app.
ChatGPT
Want the full menu bar app instead (status, connection info, and — if you have your own Mac to spare — the ability to host your own model)? Switch to the "setting up my own swarm" tab above.
Both paths just register the connector — sign-in happens automatically the first time it's actually used, and since you're already authenticated for this page it should be instant.
This sets up your own independent tunnel, DNS, and Cloudflare Access app under your own subdomain — separate from anyone else's swarm.
Prefer a GUI installer with a menu bar app instead of Terminal?
Download the installer ↓macOS will warn "Apple could not verify this is free of malware" since it isn't notarized yet — that's expected. Right-click the .pkg → Open, or go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click "Open Anyway" after the first blocked attempt.
Your own swarm is fully independent — its own tunnel, its own Access app, its own invite link for people you bring on.
